From October 1st until March 2nd, students applying for financial aid must complete and submit either their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or their California Dream Act Application (CADAA). CALSOAP aims to assist students and their parents in the extensive process of applying for financial aid.
CALSOAP hosts Cash for College Workshops and Senior Presentations October through February at participating school sites to assist with FAFSA, CADAA, and other applications’ completion. Financial aid professionals bring their expertise by answering questions and helping fill out the online applications.
CALSOAP now hosts WebGrants Workshops in April for anyone who needs assistance reviewing the Student Aid Report (SAR) and with how to proceed after completing the financial aid applications.
